Responsibilities:

• Accurately and efficiently maintain patients' medical records, including demographic information, test results, medication lists, and treatment plans
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and company policies
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in medical records, and communicate with healthcare providers and staff as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance medical records processes and patient care
• Collaborate with other departments to facilitate seamless communication and information exchange
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in medical records or a related field
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant coursework or certifications in medical records, health information technology, or a related field a plus
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical records software a plus
