Position: Medical Receptionist - Patient Service Specialist

Location: 13801-G Walsingham Rd. Largo, FL 33774 and 10099 Seminole Blvd. Ste A5 Seminole, FL 33772

Type of Employment: Full-time

Schedule: Monday-Friday; Schedule TBD

Compensation: $16.00-$17.00/hour 

 

When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Largo & Seminole we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and the business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.

 

This is a split position. Candidates must be willing to travel within the lower part of the market.

Responsibilities

 

Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check outSchedule patient appointments in person and via phoneRegular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders, and business development teamCollect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals, and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications Qualifications

Minimum:

High School Diploma or GED1 year of Front Desk Experience1 Year of Medical Office Experience

Preferred:

Insurance Verification Experience Additional Data
