Key Responsibilities: + Greet patients and visitors with professionalism, creating a welcoming environment at the front desk. + Handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and manage cancellations efficiently. + Maintain accurate patient records and update information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems (experience in systems like Cerner or Epic is a plus). + Verify and process insurance information and assist patients with billing or payment inquiries. + Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient flow and exceptional customer service. + Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, faxing, and mail distribution. Requirements Qualifications: + Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role in healthcare administration. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EMR systems (Cerner, Epic, or similar preferred). + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone. + Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is a plus.
