Job DescriptionOversee the group to ensure testing is being completed correctly and on time.Perform laboratory testing on container closure systems and packaging. Types of testing could include container closure integrity testing, mechanical-based testing (break loose glide force, residual seal force, etc.), and vibration testing to simulate shipping conditions.Use of LIMS and quality systems for sample management, documentation of testing, data collection, and verification.Participate in the development of instrumentation, drug product/packaging, and test methods while generating data for future project decisions. Data analysis using statistical software (JMP software)Assist with technical writing, including validation of protocols, reports, and test methods.Collaboration on and execution of qualifications (including instruments, methods, documentation)Interact with customers in a timely manner to ensure business needs are metEnsure all lab activities follow established safety standards, regulatory requirements while following appropriate GxP practices (cGMP, GLP, GDP).Maintain a strong safety culture in a mechanical based laboratorySupervise others in performing client’s service requirementsCoach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvementsFoster motivation and moraleCoordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TATPrepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for self and assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growthQualificationsBachelor's in science, engineering, or technology, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)At least 3 months related laboratory experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipCandidates currently living within a commutable distnce of Indianapolis, IN, are encouraged to applyAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Overtime as needed.
