Role
Brazil Medical Leaders is responsible for leadership and management of the Health Centers Processes within a country. Other responsibilities include personnel development, medical compliance and regulatory oversight, business integration, strategic review and planning, maintaining union interface, providing medical expertise and assuring the delivery of quality occupational medical services.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
Leadership and management of Health Center Occupational Processes – PCMSO and Case ManagementAssure all Brazilian Legal Requirements – PCMSO are in place.Assure Case Management process is working in all plantsRecruit, interview hire doctors and nursesDeal with complex staff issuesComplete CAP process for direct reports, 9 box and comp planning for groupAssure plants meet all BPD requirementsReview of Emergency response plans, runs/simulations, plant tracking sheetsAssure plant medical is fully engaged in plant level joint programs including H & S, IH, ergo, ADAPTProvide occupational medical expertise and support to Plant Medical DirectorsAssure plant medical team works effectively with HR, labor, Personnel Director and Plant Manager’s staffPersonnel capability development
Onboard and orient new employeesAssure training of nurses and physicians per roadmaps for new hires and license and training workbookCoach and mentor medical staffEncourage all staff to actively pursue an IDP annuallyCompliance and Regulatory Oversight
Assure completion of all required qualification and surveillance exams at all sitesAssure compliance with OSHA requirements (e.g. BBP, injury illness reporting) at all sitesAssure training of nurses and physicians per roadmaps for new hires and license and training workbookIntegrate with business partners including providing senior physician expertise to individuals and the organization
Promote GM Medical leadership and participation in employee wellness and wellbeing initiatives at every siteEnsure plants work with effectively with employee service and benefits center on disability management activities and trainingProvide medical expertise, consultation and support to plant and corporate HR, labor, PDs and Plant ManagersAssure completion of all corporate required training, attend PD annual meeting, HR learning days and meet CME requirements to maintain licensure and keep currentStrategic review and planning
Develop and / or review policies, procedures, initiatives and participate in organizational strategy planning in GMSAPrepare for and participate in monthly GM Medical leadership meetings, HRM,Lead and or participate in succession planning for GMSA leadersDevelop OH program, including benchmarking with other leading companiesMaintaining Union interfaces
Provide GM Medical leadership liaison to Local UnionProvide Occupational Physician expertise
Participate in Leadership of GM Medical in South America, and as a medical expert#LI-LL1
