This position accurately analyzes and reports all tests ordered by the Medical Staff in a timely manner and according to laboratory procedures and regulatory guidelines to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. **Job Requirements** In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: **Required Education and Experience:** + Associate’s Degree in a biological or chemical science as defined by CLIA **OR** + High school diploma/GED and completed an official military medical laboratory course and held the military enlisted occupational speciality of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Lab Technician) **Certification Preferred:** + MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training:** + Must be appropriately trained in clinical laboratory science as judged by the Director of the Clinical Laboratory Physical, Exertion, and Sensory - Medium **Where You'll Work** St. Catherine Hospital - Dodge City, is a Joint Commission accredited 99-bed hospital that serves as a regional referral center for southwest Kansas.
