Job Summary:Responsible for performing routine hematology analysis and laboratory testing procedures in a regulated environment. This role supports accurate documentation, data review, laboratory operations, and compliance with standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
What You'll Be Doing:Perform routine analytical procedures and document all testing activities in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirementsReview routine laboratory data to confirm procedures are progressing according to expectations and results are within acceptable tolerancesIdentify unusual results or potential performance errors, document findings, and escalate concerns to senior laboratory personnelPrepare buffers, solutions, and data analysis results for upload to the laboratory information management system under the guidance of senior staffAssist with quality investigations, deviations, and implementation of laboratory procedure updates and process improvementsPerform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned and ensure all activities are properly documentedSupport onboarding and hands-on training of new laboratory staff in areas of proven competencyCommunicate clearly, accurately, and promptly with cross-functional stakeholders while supporting safety, quality, and 6S initiatives
What We Are Looking For:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some College of American Pathologists and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments laboratory locations may require a Bachelor of Science in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology or cytotechnology6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferredProficiency with relevant laboratory techniques and routine analytical proceduresExperience working with automation or specialized laboratory equipment and preparing data for the laboratory information management systemOther Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degreeMedical Laboratory Technician license is required
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards such as Good Laboratory PracticesStrong attention to detail and accuracy in laboratory documentation, calculations, and data reviewAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholdersGood computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and ExcelKnowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handlingAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $42,700.00 - $89,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
