Job Summary:Perform routine hematology and laboratory testing procedures while ensuring accurate documentation, data review, and compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements. This is an office-based role scheduled Tuesday–Saturday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM.
What You'll Be Doing:Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with standard operating procedures and regulatory guidelinesReview routine data to confirm analytical procedures are performing as expected and results are within acceptable tolerancesIdentify unusual results or performance issues and escalate to senior laboratory personnelPrepare data analysis results for upload into the Laboratory Information Management System under the guidance of senior staffPerform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment as assignedSupport quality investigations, deviations, procedural updates, and implementation of laboratory changesGuide entry-level staff on routine procedures and support onboarding and hands-on training activities
What We Are Looking For:Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Some College of American Pathologists and Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments laboratory locations may require a Bachelor of Science in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environmentWorking knowledge of applicable regulatory standards, such as Good Laboratory PracticesProficiency with laboratory techniques, automation or specialized laboratory equipment, and Laboratory Information Management System supported workflowsOther equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:Strong attention to detail and accuracy while managing multiple laboratory tasks simultaneouslyGood computer skills using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft ExcelAbility to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and communicate clearly, accurately, and in a timely mannerKnowledge of laboratory safety, infection control procedures, standard precautions, and hazardous chemical handlingAbility to perform routine and some non-routine laboratory calculations, including averages, means, standard deviations, and quality control metricsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $41,400.00 - $86,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
