**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Rotating Shift **Description:** Mercy Medical Center Springfield, MA $8,000 Sign-on Bonus You would be responsible for providing highly skilled analysis of blood, fluids, and tissue samples. Takes smears of cell samples, stains samples, and places smears on slides. **What you will do:** + Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids by conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, spinal fluids, and gastric juices. + Analyzes blood cells by counting and identifying cells, using microscopic techniques and procedures + Ensures operation of analyzers and all laboratory equipment **Position Hours:** 32 hours, Rotating Shifts, every 3rd weekend & holiday rotation **Requirements:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college/university or Associate’s Degree in an MLT certification program. + MT, MLS or MLT-ASCP or equivalent level certification by one of the professional societies.
