About The Career: · The Medical Imaging Tech Assist performs a wide variety of routine duties including technical, clerical and patient related functions within their scope of practice. They are responsible for assisting members of the imaging team and providing a broad range of health care services such as: IV starts, patient exam review, preparation for the exam, patient education and transportation, and assistance with exams and procedures. The Medical Imaging Tech Assist may be assigned to work in a variety of imaging modalities per operational needs. They are trained to assist in a wide variety of imaging procedures, computers, and software. They will interface daily with physicians, nursing staff, and technologists to ensure quality and timely services in medical imaging.
