team of established critical care advanced practitioners The advanced practitioner will also provide as a consult service for stepdown and medical ICU admissions in the emergency department The Advanced Practitioners in this group use their extensive critical care knowledge to provide direct care to complex critically ill patients requiring multiple technologies and advanced life support Advanced Practitioners will practice in a collaborative environment with an intensivist attending physicians and other highly skilled members of the healthcare team Advanced practitioners are provided with ongoing medical education procedural training and opportunity for growth within the Department of PulmonaryCover MICU and SD for a APP run serviceConsult on patients in the emergency department requiring admission to a medical critical care unit Collaborate with attending pulmonary critical care physicians on daily rounds to formulate complex patient care plansPerform bedside procedures including but not limited to central line placement arterial line placement advanced ultrasonographyACLSBLS certifiedExtensive new graduate onboarding including a month orientation with dedicated time
