The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East.
Position summaryThe medical housekeeper reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the foreman, general foreman, or manufacturing plant management to perform a wide range of clean-up and housekeeping activities.
Responsibilities Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the foreman, general foreman, or manufacturing plant management. Reads and interprets instructions and plans work activities. Moves materials and equipment to work locations and performs a wide range of clean-up and housekeeping activities. Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. Performs other duties and activities as directed. Preferred qualifications Requires high school diploma, preferably with 2+ years of experience. Specific contract requirements will prevail. Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements. Must currently possess or be able to obtain prior to being hired as is required for this position a U.S. Government issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable U.S. Government Moderate Risk Public Trust. Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance or certification level for the duration of the task order.
