Position: Patient Service Specialist
Location: Waynesboro, VA
Type of Employment: PRN/Per diem - Floater - Waynesboro, Staunton and Charlottesville clinics
Schedule: Weekdays - Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8am to 4:30pm) and Tuesday/Thursday (10am to 7pm)
Compensation: $17-$19/hour - (Pending experience)
When patients enter our outpatient physical therapy center in Waynesboro, we want them to have an exceptional experience – starting at the front desk. That’s where you come in. As a patient service specialist, you’ll manage both the patient side and business side of our center. Don’t underestimate the impact you can make on every patient’s care experience, even before they leave the waiting room.
Able to cover in various locations when needed to support team members in the Staunton, Waynesboro and Charlottesville clinics. Will cover for PTO requests in all 3 centers. Best to generally live near Waynesboro and must be willing to travel to Staunton, Waynesboro and Charlottesville.

Greet and register patients and provide information about what to expect during their visit and information about their next appointment as they check outSchedule patient appointments in person and via phoneRegular communication with parties such as attorney offices, insurance companies and translation companies, market operational leaders and business development teamCollect co-pays from patients, manage payer approvals and conduct insurance authorizations and verifications Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED required1 Year of Front Desk Experience1 Year of Medical Office ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:
