Job SummaryCoordinates, instructs, evaluates and assists with developing educational programs for licensing, credentialing and fulfillment of requirements for training of resident physicians, medical students and other health professions learners.
Essential FunctionsInstruction and CurriculumAssists with translating program-developed curricula into final course delivery for learners (e.g., medical students, resident physicians, physician assistants)Works with residency programs to identify instructional needs, faculty facilitation and equipment for both required and optional skills/procedure sessionsMaintains awareness of local, state, national, and specialty trends and standardsUses media (e.g., video, photography) to provide feedback to learnersCommunicationEstablishes and maintains effective working relationships with GRMEP partners, affiliates and community health care providers.BudgetAssists in development of departmental budgetRecordsMaintains required records for all coursesFacilitates data collection for program/course evaluationEquipmentInvestigates, evaluates and utilizes appropriate medical training equipment and supportive medical training technologiesCoordinates equipment inventory, distribution, maintenance and service contractsQualifications
