What You Can Expect
This role is responsible for the design, facilitation and the implementation of Resident / Fellow training, Patient Outcomes, Practice Management, Allied Health and other special education programming. Responsible for driving the strategic planning of these medical education functions and for generating new ideas for Medical Education programming.
How You'll Create Impact Manages instructional design efforts for special programs as well as more traditional Medical Education programsIdentifies portfolio needs. Links segment Managers to Resident / Fellow education programming needs.Leads publication of an Education Plan. Evaluates programs and provides feedback regularly. Suggests recommendations and frequently problem solves to meet needs of stakeholders.Manages strategic planning of special medical education programs. Specifically, drives strategic planning of the Resident / Fellow training programs, Patient Outcomes, Practice Management, Allied Health and other alternative education programs.Creates comprehensive learning plans that drive innovation pre, during, and post events. Emphasis should be placed on pre-learning to prepare learners, leveraging existing assists and leading the creation of new assets. Post-learning should focus on leveraging existing resources and creating new resources to drive long term learning. Develops course agendas with faculty, drives instructional design process, and continually improves educational plans. Selects suitable faculty for each eventProactively develops promote plans for course attendance through a variety of networks.Responsible for allocation of budget funds as it pertains to the assigned events and tasks within Med Education. Provides input into projections and is pertinent in the planning process.Strong understanding of industry landscape through independent competitive analysis. Identifies new opportunities related to medical educationAssists in the development and maintenance of global marketing messages, in collaboration with Med Ed Managers, Global Marketing and Product Engines.Plans and executes Industry Side events at Orthopedic Tradeshows. Performs reviews on event effectivenessConducts competitive analysis to ensure team and plan is on the forefront of innovative learning and learning design

Expected Compensation Range: $126k to $145k, plus bonus
