Radiation Oncology Dosimetrist facilitates the Radiation Oncology process through the development of optimal treatment strategies Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingmiddot Utilize external beam data radioisotope data and knowledge of the technical aspects of Radiation Oncology and Physics to derive computerized treatment plans for the purpose of providing an optimal dosimetric distribution for each patient in accordance with the Radiation Oncologists prescriptionmiddot Implements department protocols policies and procedures and quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy of patient treatmentThe primary department has the following equipmentVarian Ethos with adaptive planning D conformal VMAT SBRT Eclipse v planning system with clearcalc autocontour and EZ Fluence Velocity for image registration Ethos Treatment Management Mobius QA and Mosaiq v Record and Verifymiddot The ideal candidate would join a team of dedicated dosimetrists that support treatment planning for clinics throughout Connecticut and would work collaboratively to ensure high quality treatment plans for our patients throughout our system of careWork where
