Medical Director, Multiple Myeloma Hematology

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the field of hematology? We are seeking a dynamic Medical Director for Multiple Myeloma to join our team. As a key member of the US Medical Affairs Hematology Team, you will lead the development and execution of US Medical Plans, supporting the Hematology Franchise and Franchise Head. Your expertise will drive alignment and execution of activities that support our medical objectives. Are you up for the challenge?

Accountabilities:

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and execution of the Multiple Myeloma component of the US Medical Plan, focusing on Cell Therapy and Antibody Drug Conjugate. You will craft scientific messaging and educational programs aligned with the Medical Plan, deliver insights to Oncology Brand Teams, and engage key clinical investigators for trials and research partnerships. As a member of the Brand Leadership Team, you will bridge the needs of US external scientific experts with Brand Team objectives through collaboration with all Medical Affairs functions.

Essential Skills/Experience:Advanced degree in life science-related field, such as MD, NP, PharmD, PhD or equivalent>3 years managing programs/clinical programs in a team environmentStrong knowledge of medical strategy, clinical development, and understanding of field medical science liaison functionsExperience and working knowledge of Hematology/OncologyAbility to manage a diverse group of responsibilitiesAbility to work effectively in a cross-functional team environmentLeadership abilitiesStrategic influencing skillsHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsWell-developed initiative abilityExcellent project management skillsStrong organization and time management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel up to 30% of timeDesirable Skills/Experience:Doctorate in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicine, or equivalentExperience in pharmaceutical drug development and medical/scientific affairsDirect experience in clinical trial managementHematology experience – in multiple myeloma and/or cellular therapiesMinimum 5 years of experience in a strategy-setting role within Medical AffairsWorking knowledge of FDA requirementsExcellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)Knowledge of information/technology systems

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $193,282 to $241,602. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
