Medical Device Educator - Pharmacy Technician

Our MedTech Clinical Educator with a focus on Pharmacy Technician role experience a unique opportunity to employ their technician expertise in a new way, while continuing to collaborate with healthcare professionals and advocate for the well-being of patients through medical device technology. You will be responsible for educating end users on a new product in hospital pharmacy facilities. The product being supported is a closed system drug transfer device used in an oncology setting.  Our ideal candidate will enjoy educating others, presenting to groups, and have a professional business acumen including strong communication and soft skills.

What you will be doing in the role:

Utilize Pharmacy Technician expertise to answer questions and address concerns with the medical deviceAssess customer-specific education needs and collaborate with staff to deliver a positive educational experienceProvide updates, reports, and valuable feedback to client during and after in-service assignments

Job Requirements:

Active and current Pharmacy Technician licenseMust be available at least two weeks per month for assignmentsAbility to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneeling and some lifting of equipment may be required of up to 50 poundsAbility to clear hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including providing proof of up-to-date vaccination status, required

Travel Requirement:

Full-time commitment with travel flexibility.This is a per-diem position, requiring travel regionally and nationally to support customer needs while having the flexibility to work with your current schedule. On average there are 1-2 assignments per month, ranging from 3-5 days long per assignment.Driving is considered a business requirement for this role.  Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and will be subject to a review of their driving record prior to hire.

Personal vehicle required for job-related assignments up to 3 hours from home.Located within 1 hour of a major airport.Travel, and your time traveling is paid.

Preferred Attributes:

2- 3 years minimum hospital experience preferred1 year or more of Oncology experience highly preferredLeadership experience preferred

The potential base pay range for this role is $30 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
