Medical Device Assembler II - 1st Shift
**✨ Job Opening: Assembler – 1st Shift** **(Medical Device Manufacturing)** **🔧 About the Role** We are seeking a detail‑oriented **Assembler** to support the production of high‑quality medical devices. This position involves hands‑on work in a _cleanroom environment_ , including polymer formulation, spray coating, equipment operation, and microscope‑based production tasks. You’ll play a key part in building life‑changing medical products that are expected to receive FDA approval next year—making this an exciting time to join our team. **🛠️ Key Responsibilities** + Operate machinery to manufacture medical devices according to specifications + Follow work instructions and update production documentation for traceability + Prepare finished products for packaging and sterilization + Inspect components and products using a microscope + Maintain full compliance with **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)** + **Set up coating machines, apply coatings, and perform detailed inspections** + **Prepare and test polymer and spray coating formulations** + **Package sterile and non‑sterile goods** + **Identify, organize, and replenish supplies as needed** + **Build sub‑assemblies and components for higher‑level work orders** + **Complete routine cleanroom cleaning and maintenance tasks** **⭐ Essential Skills & Qualifications** + Medium proficiency in English + Comfortable working with chemicals + Willingness to work overtime as needed + **1+ year of experience** in medical device manufacturing (microscope experience strongly preferred) + Familiarity with **cleanroom protocols** , including gowning/de‑gowning **🎓 Additional Qualifications** + High School diploma or equivalent + Experience with microscope inspections is a plus + Openness to weekend work due to increased production demand **🌟 Why Join Us?** + Be part of an innovative company with strong growth projections + Opportunity to contribute to a device targeted for **FDA approval next year** + **Work in a dynamic, supportive, and safety‑driven environment** + **Make a real impact in the medical device industry** **🏭 Work Environment & Shift Details** + Cleanroom environment requiring gowning procedures + Workday includes **two 30‑minute breaks** (one paid, one unpaid) + Must be comfortable standing throughout the entire shift **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
