The PositionThe Global Digital Hub is a growing business line within Roche Services & Solutions Center. Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Content Creation, and Creative Design.
The Medical copy and content team within the Global Digital Hub operates under the Content Creation Chapter. This specialized team focuses on generating commercial content intended for various digital formats (emails, videos, banners, infographics, websites etc.). Their work plays a crucial role in supporting the communication strategies developed by Roche's global and local business teams.
As a Medical Copywriter (or Junior Medical Writer) you will support the growing medical writing team within Roche Services & Solution Centre in developing medical writing & digital content solutions for our business partners. You will be part of formulating and identifying current and future content needs and support different content creation initiatives.
In addition, you will work with Senior Medical Writers to ensure the effective deployment of resources and tools to support and ensure that writing activities are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the business needs.
As a Junior Medical Writer you will commit to continuous professional development and you will uphold the highest standards of scientific accuracy, quality, and compliance with all applicable industry guidelines, both local and international.
The Opportunity:
Engage in continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and mentoring programs to deepen knowledge of Roche’s therapeutic areas and enhance medical writing skills.
Write and edit medical content across various formats, including patient information, HCP educational materials, newsletters, study summaries, and PR resources.
Collaborate on briefs across multiple outputs and disease areas, demonstrating strong writing skills and adaptability.
Analyze briefs effectively by identifying key components, raising relevant questions, and addressing potential delivery issues.
Ensure client-ready, high-quality content by self-editing, referencing accurately, and adhering to regulatory guidelines.
Manage multiple projects across therapeutic areas, meeting deadlines and delivering LMR-approved content.
Partner with Creative teams, contribute innovative ideas, and maintain effective communication with internal teams, clients, and key stakeholders.
Who you are:
You hold a degree in medical sciences or a related field, with 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic projects are beneficial).
You possess native-level written and spoken English, with additional languages (e.g., Spanish, Italian, German, French) as a strong advantage.
You demonstrate excellent attention to detail, scientific rigor, and effective time management.
You have strong communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to work in dynamic team environments.
You show proficiency in standard IT applications, preferably including Google Suite, and a passion for learning new technologies.
You possess a customer-service mentality, a can-do attitude, and an adaptable mindset for prioritizing tasks in a fast-changing environment.
You display strong interpersonal skills, accountability, and a natural ability to build relationships and engage with diverse stakeholders.
