**Overview** **Position Summary:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our medical facility. This role is essential to ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors. **This position does not involve any direct interaction with patients.** **Pay:** $18.00 an hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members (https://wpe-media.abm.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/ABM\_2025\_Employee\_Benefits\_Frontline\_v2\_English\_9.5.24.pdf) | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of non-clinical and clinical areas (e.g., hallways, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, staff lounges). + Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. + Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines. + Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. + Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners. + Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. + Maintain cleaning logs and documentation as required. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent preferred. + Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare or commercial setting is a plus. + Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. + Ability to work independently and follow instructions. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. + Must be able to pass a background check and health screening. **Working Conditions:** + Work is performed indoors in a medical facility environment. + Exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional biohazard materials (with proper PPE). + Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
