Position Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in our medical facility. This role is essential to ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for staff and visitors. This position does not involve any direct interaction with patients.

Pay:  $18.00 an hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

 

Shift:  Night Shift - 6pm-2:30am

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of non-clinical and clinical areas (e.g., hallways, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, staff lounges). Disinfect high-touch surfaces and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to facility guidelines. Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper. Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Maintain cleaning logs and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cleaning experience in a healthcare or commercial setting is a plus. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies. Ability to work independently and follow instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Must be able to pass a background check and health screening.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed indoors in a medical facility environment. Exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional biohazard materials (with proper PPE). Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
