Medical Claims Associate needed in Plantation, FL

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Claims Associate to join our team. This role involves entering claims data, providing excellent customer service, and managing documentation. As a secondary insurance provider, you will be responsible for entering information on 10-15 claims per day, which will then be routed to our licensed adjusters for processing.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry for claims.Provide customer service to clients.Manage and maintain accurate documentation.Enter information on 10-15 claims daily, focusing on balances not covered by primary insurance.

Essential Skills

Experience in medical claims (excluding PIP).Familiarity with primary insurance Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and related CPT coding and processing.Proficiency in Health Insurance Claim Forms (HCFA or CMS-1500).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in medical insurance company claims departments, doctor's office billing, or third-party administration.

Work Environment

The work environment is professional and focused on accuracy and efficiency. Candidates will use standard office technology and equipment. The position requires attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality and data integrity.

This is a Contract position based out of Plantation, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
