Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Billing/Accounting Associate to join our team in Kennett, Missouri. This role focuses on Medicaid billing and accounting tasks, requiring a strong background in managing financial processes and meeting strict deadlines. Responsibilities: • Process Medicaid billing for both in-home care and veterans' direct care services. • Reconcile billing records to ensure accuracy and completeness. • Enter data efficiently and accurately into accounting systems. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. • Handle invoice processing and ensure timely payments. • Balance financial records and maintain compliance with regulations. • Meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for billing activities. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Medicaid billing or a similar role. • Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Familiarity with QuickBooks and other accounting software. • Solid data entry skills with attention to detail. • Knowledge of medical billing terminology. • Strong organizational and time management abilities. • A college degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
