Job ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary safety contact for all study subjects in the clinic.Provide both emergent and non-emergent basic medical care within the scope of practice to study subjects.Monitor and record Adverse Events (AEs) and determine if it is safe for subjects to proceed with study procedures in consultation with medical staff.Perform technical procedures including blood collection, vital signs, and ECGs.Assess out-of-range values for symptoms and medically intervene if subject safety is in question.Coordinate basic dosing including oral, inhalation, and nasal methods.Job ComplexityThis role involves semi-routine assignments but requires recognizing when deviations from accepted practices are necessary.

Supervision ReceivedYou will follow established procedures for routine work and need instructions only for new assignments.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent experience with relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.Certified or licensed EMT/LVN or Medical Assistant with American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.Previous experience that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProficiency in Basic Life Support.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple complex tasks effectively.Capability to handle potential emergency medical situations.Working Conditions and EnvironmentOffice or clinical environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.Frequently works long hours, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays.Fast-paced work under varying time constraints.Exposure to bio-hazardous material, infectious diseases, and/or illnesses.Personal protective equipment may be required.Physical RequirementsOccasionally stationary for 1-2 hours per day.Frequent mobility and repetitive hand movements.Occasional crouching, stooping, bending, and lifting objects up to 15-20 lbs.Ability to use various computer software and communicate information clearly.Join us and be part of a team that values integrity, intensity, innovation, and involvement.
