**Medical Assistant – Palliative Care**
**Location:** Vancouver, WA | **FTE:** 1.0, Full-Time | **Schedule:** Day Shift
**Hourly Range:** $24.99 – $33.73 (DOE )

As a Medical Assistant, you'll play an essential role in our care team, providing clinical and administrative support to physicians and providers while delivering exceptional patient-centered service.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare patients for exams, record vital signs, and assist during treatments or procedures
+ Administer injections, apply dressings, and assist with wound care as directed
+ Maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure adequate medical supplies
+ Support providers with scheduling, documentation, and patient records
+ Provide phone screening and help patients navigate follow-up needs
+ Collaborate with staff and departments to ensure smooth daily operations
**What You’ll Need:**
+ Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or eligible alternative
+ Current Washington State Medical Assistant – Certified license (Interim accepted with plan to obtain full credential within 12 months)
+ National Medical Assistant certification (e.g., AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, AMCA, AAH, or NAHPUSA)
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
+ One year of medical office experience preferred
