Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Summary:
Provides direct and in-direct patient care under direction of office leadership. Performs duties such as routine intake of patients which includes taking vital signs, performing point of care testing as appropriate and assuring patients understand their discharge instructions. May also be required to transport patients. They will also be required to answer phone messages, propose orders per the JPP and assure providers are made aware when there are outstanding tasks on their desktops/message center that they must complete.

Education and Experience • Healthcare experience or training preferred. • Current graduate of a recognized MA program or on-line course preferred. • Must have approved national certification at time of hire. • BLS certification is to be obtained prior to caring for patients and is to be kept current. • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
