Position Summary: As a Medical Assistant at MyCare 365, you’ll be a vital part of our care team, working side-by-side with providers and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care to our ambulatory patients. You’ll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced office setting, supporting clinical workflows and ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for. What You’ll Do: Float between the MyCare 365 locations of Brightleaf, Clayton, Riverwood, and Middle Creek Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) Support providers with procedures, exams, and follow-up care Administer medications and vaccines under provider delegation Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and patient education Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth patient flow and continuity of care What We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program Current certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting is a plus Commitment to WakeMed’s values of respect, integrity, and excellence Why WakeMed?
