Certified Medical Assistant – Community Behavioral Health Clinics (Full Time)
Locations: Oakland County & Macomb County, MI Candidates may choose Oakland County, Macomb County, or BOTH.
Mileage reimbursed when floating.
Oakland County Sites:
+ Auburn Hills
+ Southfield (multiple clinic sites)
+ Walled Lake
Macomb County Sites:
+ Center Line
+ Clinton Township
Employer: Easterseals MORC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Extensions & Temp-to-Perm Possible)
Pay: $22/hr (Certified) | $20/hr (Non-Certified)
Schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 hours/week
Easterseals MORC is seeking Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to support outpatient Community Behavioral Health Center clinics across Oakland and Macomb County. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled MAs who enjoy working in a behavioral health environment, collaborating with physicians, and supporting patient care in a meaningful setting.
You may float between clinic locations based on daily needs (mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate). Candidates may choose their county preference.
Minimum Requirements:
+ + Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience required
+ Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (CMA certification strongly preferred)
+ Valid driver’s license
High School diploma or its equivalent
+ Good telephone communication skills
+ Knowledge of medical terminology
+ Knowledge of medical procedures
+ Knowledge of clerical functions
+ Current CPR card (if applicable)
+ Current PPD or Chest X-Ray (if applicable)
