The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for:

Responsible to provide basic patient care assistance to the physicians and ARNPsRecords and documents vital signs, patient weight and heightPerforms non-intravenous injectionsAssists with treatment plans, treatment plane reviews, outcomes, medication authorization overrides, follow-ups and referralsObtains information required for meaningful use.Conducts face to face visits, handles medical service-related telephone callsMonitors and maintains inventory and equipmentTravel required to various program sitesPerforms other duties as assigned

Required Certification/Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support)CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) -FL Driver's License

Required Education:

High School or Equivalent

Preferred Experience:

1 year – Behavioral Health
