Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program Instructor

Work Schedule: 

Full-time, 100% FTE, day shift position. Monday through Friday scheduled between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, no weekends or holidays required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

 

Pay:

We are seeking a Program Instructor for our Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program to:

Instruct courses and correlating laboratory exercises including didactic and clinical instruction and evaluation.  

Ensure that course and clinical laboratory exercises meet course objectives.

Motivate and inspire students.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent RequiredMA, LPN, RN, Lab professional Preferred

Work Experience

18 months of experience as a CMA, RMA, CCMA or LPN in an ambulatory setting or other healthcare related experience Required3 years of experience as a CMA, RMA, CCMA or LPN in an ambulatory setting PreferredExperience as a lab professional for CLIA-Waived POL setting PreferredTeaching experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

CMA, RMA, CCMA or LPN Upon Hire RequiredBLS/CPR certification Upon Hire RequiredRN license Preferred
