Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support Specialist: Prepare examination rooms, take and record accurate vital signs, obtain patient histories, and assist with examinations and minor procedures.Communication Hub: Answer patient questions, provide clear pre/post-procedure instructions, manage prescription refills, and triage phone calls effectively.Administrative Aid: Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring the clinic runs smoothly.Sterilization Steward: Maintain a clean and safe environment, sterilizing instruments and stocking supplies diligently.

**This position is for a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assitant - CHI Health requires that ALL MA/CMAs MUST be a graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP) -- This position IS NOT for a Med Aide or CNA.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/validBasic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Where You'll Work
