Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Medical Assistant for a concierge medical practice in Boca Raton, FL. The practice is within concierge medicine and is a small internal medicine practice with three employees – the Physician, the Medical Assistant , and the Front Desk Receptionist. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant who is looking for a smaller office environment. The Physician typically sees between 10-20 patients per day. Patients are seen for annual appointments, chronic disease management and follow-ups. The Medical Assistant should be able to take vital signs, check patients in, perform EKG, complete Flu/COVID swabs and perform phlebotomy/venipuncture. Skills and Requirements -2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant -2 years of experience with phlebotomy and blood draw -Confident with annual wellness visits, rooming patients, taking vitals, performing venipuncture/phlebotomy, EKG, giving immunizations, Flu/COVID swabs, answering/returning phone calls, scheduling patients, etc. -Strong communication and organizational skills -Background using Athena EMR -Reliable, presentable, polite and empathetic towards patients -Active BLS/CPR -Prior experience within Concierge medicine
