About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to become a vital part of our specialty care team. In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for preparing patients for exams, coordinating diagnostic and procedural appointments (including PET scans), assisting providers during visits, and ensuring patient rooms are clean and organized. Flexibility is key—you may be asked to support multiple specialties within our large practice.
Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome and room patients, ensuring they’re ready for examinationSchedule PET scans, procedures, and follow-up visits with precisionAssist providers during exams and minor proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and patient-ready environmentFloat between specialties as needed to support practice operations
Required Skills & QualificationsStrong foundation in medical assisting practicesExperience with appointment and procedure schedulingPhlebotomy proficiencyExceptional customer service and communication skillsCMA/RMA certification
Preferred ExperiencePrior work with oncology or cancer patient populations is highly valuedPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
