Medical Assistant
Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our dedicated healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support physicians and clinical staff in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced primary care environment.

Key Responsibilities:Greet and room patients, take vital signs, and document medical histories.Prepare patients for examinations and assist with procedures.Administer injections, perform EKGs, and collect specimens for lab testing.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the EMR system.Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, and patient education.Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use.Support front office tasks as needed, including scheduling and phone triage.Uphold infection control and HIPAA compliance standards.Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred.CPR/BLS certification required.Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer applications.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
