Our Radiology Department delivers a full spectrum of diagnostic services to support patient care across the continuum. We provide advanced imaging through MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine, as well as essential diagnostic services including X-ray, Ultrasound, and Mammography. In addition, our department integrates with Cardiology to offer comprehensive cardiac imaging and testing. By combining state-of-the-art technology with a highly skilled care team, we ensure accurate diagnosis, timely results, and compassionate care tailored to each patient’s needs.
Position Purpose:
Medical Assistants are essential members of the team, supporting patient care by starting IVs, accessing and de-accessing ports, preparing patients for biopsy procedures, and assisting with patient transport. They also contribute to department efficiency by managing clerical responsibilities such as reminder calls, patient call-backs, and results coordination, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and staff alike.
Schedule: Monday 8a-430p, Tuesday 7a-230p, Wednesday 8a-430p, Thursday 7a-230p, Friday 7a-130p
Status available: Full-time, benefit eligible (72 hours per pay period – every two weeks)
Required Qualifications:
CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA, certification through an NCCA accredited program or is eligible to register to take the exam through one of the approved providers prior to date of hire, and successfully attains CMA, RMA, CCMA or NCMA certification within 6 months from date of hire. The approved provider list includes the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), the American Medical Technologists (AMT), the National HealthCareer Association (NHA) or the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT). 2 years previous clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.Formal education in medical terminology and anatomy & physiology preferredClick Here to learn more about the benefits, culture and career development opportunities available to you at Trinity Health Michigan.
