Job Title: Medical Assistant Job Description As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by managing patient scheduling, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting with examinations and procedures. You will prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and assist providers in setting up rooms for procedures. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards while providing excellent customer service to patients. You will also be required to travel between clinics as needed. Essential Skills + Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) certification required. + Valid WA MA license for local candidates. + Ability to float between clinics and adapt to different work environments. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Proficiency in EPIC charting system (preferred). Additional Skills & Qualifications + MA-R certification required for Olympia location. + Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are required. + Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between clinics. Work Environment The work schedule consists of various shifts, all 5x8 hours, starting at 7:30 am, 8:00 am, or 8:30 am, with no weekend or on-call duties. The shifts are from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm. This role requires the ability to adapt to different work environments as you float between clinics. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
