The chosen candidate will make patients feel at ease, keep schedules running efficiently, and ensure doctors can focus on providing excellent care.A Typical (But Never Boring) Day Will Include:Clinical detective work: Taking vital signs, gathering essential medical history, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physicians during procedures.Phlebotomy prowess: (If the candidate has the training!) Drawing blood samples with a gentle touch and expert technique.Patient Whisperer: Educating patients about their conditions, medications, and treatment plans with clarity and compassion.Team Player Extraordinaire: Collaborating with the entire team to ensure a smooth and efficient patient experience, from check-in to checkout.And more! Because in family medicine, every day brings new and exciting (and sometimes slightly messy) challenges!
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of a medical assisting program accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education (CAAHEP)Successfully completed Medication Aide 40-hour course or current/valid Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
