Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a skilled Medical Assistant for their client in Stanford ,FL location . **Location:** 1621 W 1st St, Sanford, FL 32771 **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM **Travel:** Occasionally required to nearby clinics on a case-by-case basis **Pay - 24.34/HR** **Responsibilities -** 1. Greet patients in a professional, courteous, and welcoming manner. 2. Administer medications, immunizations, EKGs, and ear washes under the supervision of a physician. 3. Assist with minor surgical and office procedures. 4. Provide patient education and support as directed by the physician. 5. Perform venipuncture and strong phlebotomy procedures. 6. Call patients with test results and physician instructions; schedule follow-up visits as needed. 7. Conduct all front office responsibilities as assigned, including check-in, check-out, and scheduling. 8. Answer telephone inquiries, triage calls, and direct appropriately. 9. Handle laboratory duties: blood draws, spinning and prepping specimens, maintaining lab logs. 10. Ensure adequate stock and proper maintenance of equipment in the laboratory area. 11. Address care gap closures (e.g., HEDIS gaps) and perform other assigned duties. **Required Qualifications:** + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. + BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross equivalent). + Minimum of 2 years of relevant back-office medical assistant experience required . + CMA or RMA certification is required .
