Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a Medical Assistant for their client in Lake Success ,NY . **Location:** 2 Ohio Drive, Lake Success, NY 11042, USA **Status:** Full-Time **Schedule:** Monday – Friday (Shifts vary between 7:15 AM – 5:30 PM) **Pay - 24.34/HR** **Top Responsibilities:** + Triage patients and assess immediate needs upon arrival + Accurately obtain and document manual vital signs + Conduct medication prior authorizations with insurance providers + Respond to and return patient messages in a timely and professional manner + Send and receive faxes, including lab results, referrals, and documentation + Obtain and update patient medical history during visits or check-in + Support providers with in-office procedures and documentation as needed **Required Qualifications:** + Preferred experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or ambulatory care setting + Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support) + Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and care teams + Proficiency in using EHR systems and office equipment + Attention to detail, dependability, and a commitment to patient-centered care **Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):** + Strong background as a Medical Assistant + Familiarity with medication prior authorizations and triage procedures + Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
