Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is currently looking to hire a skilled Medical Assistant role for their client in Seattle, WA location . Job Type - Contract to Hire Shift Hours - 8am to 5pm (M-F) Pay - 24.34/HR **Roles & Responsibilities -** - Rooming patients, including obtaining and documenting vitals, chief complaints, medication reconciliation, and health history in the electronic medical record (EPIC). - Managing in-basket tasks such as triaging patient messages, processing refill requests, and routing calls appropriately. - Performing accurate documentation and closing encounters per department workflows. - Maintaining exam room cleanliness, stocking supplies, and ensuring infection control compliance. - Providing patient education within scope. - Supporting patient flow by proactively communicating with providers and team members to reduce wait times and increase clinic efficiency. - Performing administrative tasks as needed, including scanning documents and assisting with paperwork completion, such as medication prior authorizations. **Must have qualifications/experience:** Required Certification for Medical Assistant Work experience in EPIC/EMR Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
