Your role in action + Welcome, prepare, and room patients for visits. + Record medical histories, vital signs, and document care accurately in the medical record. + Collect laboratory specimens when needed. + Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient care. + Assist providers with physical exams, minor procedures, dressings, sutures/staple removal, splints, or casts. + Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked workspaces and equipment. + Answer patient calls and messages, forwarding to the right team members. + Participate in staff meetings and quality improvement efforts. What you bring to the table + Required: Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential. + Preferred: One year of experience in a clinical or practice setting. + Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, pharmacology, infection control, HIPAA, and aseptic technique preferred. + Excellent communication, adaptability, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
