Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine **We are searching for the best talent for a Medical Affairs Lead Oncology to be based in Switzerland.** **The Medical Affairs Lead (MAF lead)reports to the Director of Medical Affairs and supervises several roles including (Senior) Medical Advisors, Medical Scientific Liaisons (MSLs), and Medical Affairs Managers. The MAF Lead plays a crucial role in shaping the medical strategy and ensuring effective execution, in alignment with business objectives. The position demands a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and deep industry knowledge to drive success in medical affairs.** The MAF Lead is a leading contributor to the Country Value Team (CVT) and offers medical expertise both internally and externally, as well as portfolio management and development of long-term strategies in collaboration with the EMEA Functional Network.​ Other responsibilities include ​leading the development of the Medical Affairs (MAF) plan in alignment with the EMEA/IBVT medical strategy and managing the related budget and supervising the MSL tactical plans. **An important aspect of the role is the leadership of the medical team including coordinating and developing talent within the team.** **The role requires a blend of personal and professional proficiencies:** **Personal** **Strong leadership and business sense** **Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills** **High learning agility and a positive demeanor** **Professional** **A minimum of 8-10 years of proven experience across multiple fields** **A medical, pharmacy or scientific degree, preferably a PhD** **Deep knowledge of the therapeutic area and the industry.** **Proficiency in German and English, with French as an advantage**
