Job Description

As a Medical Advisor at AbbVie, you will play a critical role in supporting our Dermatology (Immunology) initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide medical expertise, drive scientific engagement, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory guidelines, industry codes and company policies. Responsibilities

Provide medical and scientific expertise in the field of Dermatology (Immunology) to support AbbVie's initiatives and strategies in the affiliateDevelop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders, external experts, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in the affiliateCollaborate effectively with the cross-functional team or within the matrix to support the development and execution of medical and clinical strategiesServe as a medical/scientific voice of expertise for internal and external queries related to Dermatology (Immunology) therapy area in AbbVieProvide medical/scientific input into the development of product or TA specific strategic medical affairs plans for the affiliate and local commercial/marketing plansProvide strategic input and operational support for activities like local clinical research, interactions with healthcare professionals, data generation, educational initiatives, and patient safetyExecute local medical affairs implementation plans efficientlyEnsure compliance with all relevant local legislation, regulatory guidelines, industry codes and company policiesDeliver scientific presentations and engage in discussions at local and regional meetingsReview promotional material ensuring medical/scientific content is accurate and compliantDeliver trainings to internal stakeholders and develop/update relevant training materialsLead literature review from scientific meetings and conferences; develops summaries of key messages for internal use, focusing on scientific interest areas and new trends in the therapeutic areaWork dynamically across multiple channels, adjusting channel choice and tailoring content and messages/medical discussion topics appropriately, to meet evolving customer preferences
Qualifications
Relevant university degree (Medical Degree or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline)Relevant 3-5 years of experience with proven track record in medical affairs within pharmaceutical industryStrong interest in developing and maintaining expertise in assigned therapeutic areas/products and medical researchExcellent communication and presentation skills (written and spoken)Strong commitment to compliance, scientific quality and integrityAdherence to national laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, and AbbVie's policies and proceduresStrong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to execute tasks effectivelyAbility to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environmentDemonstrated ability to engage with healthcare professionals and stakeholdersEnglish language proficiency (written and oral)Valid driving license.
