Medical Administrator
Description We are looking for a dedicated Medical Administrator to join our healthcare team in Santa Cruz, California. This is an onsite contract position requiring excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and skilled at handling administrative duties with attention to detail. Responsibilities: • Greet patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. • Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize clinic operations. • Handle patient documentation, including intake forms and medical records, with accuracy and confidentiality. • Provide bilingual support to patients and staff, ensuring clear communication at all times. • Maintain office supplies and oversee inventory to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. • Utilize software tools such as Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, and Word for administrative tasks. • Respond to inquiries promptly and provide information regarding clinic procedures and services. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to address patient needs and improve service delivery. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures in all administrative functions. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative role, preferably in healthcare, retail, or hospitality. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe. • Proficiency in multiple languages required to assist diverse patient populations. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality. • Business casual or scrubs dress code required.
