Role Summary and Impact

As a Media Planner at EssenceMediacom, you will be instrumental in supporting the development and execution of media plans for key clients including London Drugs, Northland Properties, and Gardenworks. You will contribute to the day-to-day management of campaigns, foster strong relationships with clients and partner agencies, and ensure the seamless execution of media strategies. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your media career within a leading global agency, directly impacting client success through data-driven and innovative media solutions.

About the Role: The Media Planner provides support to the managers in the senior team, contributes to overall client service requirements and assists in the management of media plan executions. This role is for London Drugs, Northland Properties and Gardenworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Day to day for some client contacts across accounts; London Drugs and Northland Properties Nurture relationships with and work directly with client partner agencies i.e. creative Build positive relationships with client contacts Assist in development and presentation of plans, in conjunction with senior planners Ability to develop smaller plans and execute with minimal management direction (usually under $100k) Ability to keep track of developed campaigns and be able to speak about them to client and senior management Capable of independently completing reports with little management guidance; adept at transforming narrative and statistics provided by vendors and teams into actionable insights Ensure team deadlines are met Ability to provide communication response in a timely manner, especially to clients Oversee all media accounting, and administrative duties required on assigned accounts including monthly media expenditure reports (BCRs) Traffic campaigns to specialist teams Work with AdOps and Account Manager to ensure all site tagging is complete prior to campaign launch Ensure checks are done when creative is received or when preview links are provided by teams Carry out buy brief meetings with Investment Team Ability to take detailed notes for meetings and provide contact reports Access appropriate research as it applies to clients’ needs, using proprietary tools Effectively work with Finance, Investment Team, Traffic and other internal groups in order to ensure that client activity is in good order

Your Education and Experience:

1-3 years media planning/buying experience Post-secondary degree, specialization in Advertising and/or Marketing an asset

Salary Range: $52,500 - $75,500
