The Media Manager is responsible for driving strategy, execution, and innovation across all paid media channels, including traditional media such as TV, Audio, and Out-of-Home (OOH). This role requires translating big-picture business challenges into effective paid media solutions, measured by key performance indicators such as revenue, conversions, leads, and traffic.
ResponsibilitiesPartner with management to drive media agency planning and buying.Assist upper management in developing and implementing both long- and short-term strategies.Work closely with media agencies and department management in developing budgets, audience strategies, and tactics across all linear/traditional media touchpoints.Lead internal and agency teams to develop messaging, media creative, and testing plans for relevant channels, while continuously evaluating and testing new opportunities.Collaborate with agencies to ensure accurate media reporting that delivers actionable insights and optimizations promptly.Elevate performance analysis to leadership, distilling measurable metrics into contextually relevant business impacts.Develop and direct media testing roadmaps across media channels, focusing on increasing revenue and driving innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Senior Manager, Marketing Ops in developing and utilizing data infrastructure through AdTech products.Ensure optimal consumer experience across the purchase journey, working with internal stakeholders including eCommerce, Analytics, Promo, and Product.Maintain in-depth knowledge of the media landscape and trends, championing bold and creative ideas.Provide Points of View (POVs) related to potential partnerships or sponsorships when applicable.Manage and grow the Media Specialists, implementing new ways of working with Rebel Fish and Creative processes.Essential SkillsProficiency with Google Stack, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, DU360, GA360.Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Minimum 5 years of media agency or related experience in media planning and buying.Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role.Additional Skills & QualificationsRobust knowledge across TV/Video and Audio landscapes.Deep understanding of the overarching media landscape in relation to coordination and impact on day-to-day performance.Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.Natural ability to understand complex media topics and translate them into technical and user-friendly language.Proven experience in navigating ambiguous situations and challenges requiring extensive cross-functional team collaboration.Developed skills in research and analysis.Meticulously organized and process-oriented, with experience managing and maintaining project timelines.Proficiency with tools and platforms including iSpot, Kantar, and Liveramp.Experience delivering results in a fast-paced environment.High level of energy and enthusiasm to learn and grow.Work Environment
This position requires working on-site Monday through Thursday. Fridays are remote.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.00 - $43.00/hr.
