Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The RN demonstrates clinical judgment, critical thinking, and performance ability in coordinating patient care, consistently adhering to nursing standards and facility policies. Responsibilities: + Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. + Perform focused interviews to identify patient needs. + Assess physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient condition. + Collect, analyze, and interpret data to document nursing diagnoses and plans of care. + Prioritize and perform interventions according to patient care requirements and hospital policies. + Provide a safe, therapeutic environment and initiate patient/family education. + Revise care plans based on evaluation and changes in medical plans. + Document patient responses and maintain consistency with standards of care. + Support professional practice in accordance with Nurse Practice Act, Joint Commission standards, and Amergis policies. + Other duties as assigned.
