Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Job Description

This position will focus on repair/corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance of various production and laboratory instruments, machines, and equipment in a drug and medical device manufacturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform repair and corrective maintenance on production and laboratory equipment.Execute preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance.Diagnose and perform electrical repairs on AC (single and three phase) and DC systems.Assist in troubleshooting PLC problems and interpret ladder logic.Work independently in a cGMP environment, managing daily maintenance records.Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components of HVAC systems.Familiarize with autoclaves, steam generators, ovens, storage areas, and water generation systems.Essential SkillsExperience in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, HVAC, and troubleshooting.Ability to work with multimeters, test probes, micrometers, and dial indicators.Proficiency in reading P&ID's, isometrics, sketches, and handwritten instructions.Strong communication and writing skills.Ability to work well in a project team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with de-gassing and Electronic De-Ionization systems preferred.PC literate with experience in maintenance software and Microsoft products.Associate or Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 5-7+ years’ experience as a maintenance mechanic or equivalent.Hazmat Emergency Responder Certification preferred.Pharmaceutical/medical device experience in a GMP environment.Why Work Here

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
