We are currently looking for multiple Mechatronics Engineers to join our team. This role will include the deployment, improvement and support of automated systems and processes. These include electronic and computer control systems, such as Robots and NC Machine Tools.

Position Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities will include:

Timely support & resolution of production issues that arise with existing production equipment and processes. Guide and direct resources required to keep equipment and processes at an operational level. Identify and implement corrective actionsDevelop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve process cycle, quality and availability for complex production machinesProject management within the implementation of new automated production equipment as required and lead continues improvement for the assets through life cycleParticipate in formal systems design, product, process and certification reviewsInput into the manufacturing strategy and development of automation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic/Robotic EngineeringStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of continuous improvement principles and practicesMust have full unrestricted working rights

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

Software development and CAD / CAM experience is desirableStrong mechanical ‘hands on’ background is desirableExperience in the design and support of automated production environmentsExperience with robotic systems, machine tools and industrial systems

Classification Level:

These are Enterprise Agreement position classified as an Eng/Sci 1A & 1B.
